Marketing/Membership Committee
Committee Chairs: Nancy Ukpe, Membership Director and Erin Peed, Marketing Director
 
Description: The Marketing/Membership Committee is tasked with creating and implementing strategies for chapter membership recruitment, engagement, and retention. The committee is also responsible for organizing a membership recruitment event during the first quarter of the year. The Committee is also responsible for developing creative marketing and messaging systems for the chapter utilizing a wide range of media outlets. The committee is also responsible for organizing a general social event held during the second quarter of the year. Serving on this committee will require a minimum time commitment of one meeting every other month, beginning in February. Fundraising and Development Committee
Committee Chair: Dottie Brackett, Fundraising and Development Director
 
Description: The Fundraising and Development Committee is responsible for establishing diverse approaches to chapter fundraising. This includes organizing fundraising events and campaigns, donor identification and solicitation, and grant management. The committee is also responsible for organizing a fundraising event during the third quarter of the year. Serving on this committee will require a minimum time commitment of one meeting every other month, beginning in February.
 
Spring Educational Event
Committee Chair(s): Heather Evans, Chapter Director
 
Description: The Spring Education Event Committee is tasked with identifying a relevant and pertinent topic for the event and organizing the event itself. Options for event topics are wide-ranging, and the only criteria is that it be a topic of interest to chapter membership. Serving on this committee will require a minimum time commitment of one meeting every other month from February to June, though more meetings may be required during this time period.
 
Fall Educational Event
Committee Chair(s): Colleen Norton, Scribe and Historian
 
Description: The Fall Education Event Committee is tasked with identifying a relevant and pertinent topic for the event and organizing the event itself. Options for event topics are wide-ranging, and the only criteria are that it be a topic of interest to chapter membership. Serving on this committee will require a minimum time commitment of one meeting every other month from August to December, though more meetings may be required during this time period.
